They use to have the bundle for $499 with the 7800x3d and if you sign up for their credit card $479. The 7600x3d is a ripoff since they increased the price just because they could 😑

Stupid decision to make it exclusive and in store only. Could have made it atleast shipping. Not everyone lives near a Microcenter. This would easily have sold a lot, but dumbass marketing staff I guess.

Got the bundle a few days ago for my first PC build, was super excited about it but they didn’t pick the parts very well. The ram is not on the mobo qvc list, and the 7600x3d only stoppers ddr5 up to 5200mhz so I can’t get the full speed of the ram I was forced to buy

So I just picked up that bundle literally 3 days ago for a build that I was doing again for 1440 gaming paired with a 4070 TI super let me tell you this thing is a masterpiece. I really walked in ready to buy 7800x3d which is the best gaming chip but it was literally $150 more. The guy at micro center said that I was only getting around 10 percent faster for the $150 so I choose the 7600x3d and saved $150 and it’s a beast playing cyberpunk and starfield on ease!!!! No regrets I recommend for anybody building a budget mid range build

At minute 1:30 when you are connecting a 44 pin IDE connector, how do you know which direction (up or down) the connected device should be? Also there are 4 extra pins to the side, are they important?

How about game loading and shader compile times?

DO NOT BUY THE KOBRA 3 combo. I’ve had nothing but problems and Ancubic customer support is a nightmare to deal with. They will try everything to keep your money and make a return as difficult as possible.

Thanks bro, adding/removing any executable to startup was WAY EASIER on previous versions of windows. Windows 11 tries to only let users pick and choose a limited selection of whats possible to run with startup.

Great review, great design, and great features, looking forward to ordering some of these samples once they hit thinkpad, latitude, and probook designs. Intel connected standby, as well as Windows Modern Standby have been the bane of my existence ever since i started seeing devices with them back in..... 2012? Since then we've developed a procedure on all laptops and desktops to disable these features in the BIOS, and in group policy, which mostly means devices now go to hibernate rather than sleep with sleep and connected standby being completely blocked in the BIOS. I am glad to see these problems that were supposed to be features, are now getting fixed. I, nor anyone else i know gave 2 craps about the supposed benefits of connected standby, when turning this 'feature' off meant the device having battery when you pulled it out of the bag, at the cost of 15 extra seconds of wifi connectivity to download those messages and emails i probably didnt want to see anyway.
